What are BlueWorks Mobile Office Solutions?
BlueWorks Mobile Office Solutions is comprised of two available solutions - Mobile Office Email and Internet and BlackBerry® Email and Internet Service. Both options have the capability to synchronize wirelessly your email, calendar, contacts, and tasks between a desktop PC or Mac and a wireless mobile device /BlackBerry® Smartphone.
How can I receive and send email from my home or work email provider?
BlueWorks Mobile Office allows you to wirelessly send and receive your work and personal email on your mobile PDA or Smartphone. The software you select to use Mobile Office depends on the type of device you have.
How will people know how to send me messages on my cellular phone?
The most efficient method is by telling them! Many people choose to print their new text message address on their business cards, list them in company directories, or other lists. Some software has the ability to automatically forward messages to another address, such as your Bluegrass Cellular text message address.
Is there someone that I can call to send a message?
We do not currently offer operator assisted messaging.
What happens if the message is too long?
A message that is longer than 160 characters will be divided into two messages.
How long does it take for a message to reach my phone?
This is dependent upon many factors, but in an ideal case the message is received almost immediately after being sent.
Can someone send me a message if they don't have email?
Yes, if they can go to our send text message page, they can send a message.
What happens to my messages when I am out of the area or my phone is turned off?
Messages are stored for 7 days and will automatically be sent once your phone is on in our home area.
Is it possible to send messages from my phone?
Yes, however you must have a 2-way capable phone. Please visit your nearest Bluegrass Cellular location for details, or call 1-800-928-CELL.
How do I receive a message via another text messaging capable phone?
Bluegrass Cellular customers who have phones capable of sending text messages can send to either an email address or to another text messaging customer. You may want to check to see if text messaging has been added as a feature to your account. Ask your friends if they are text message capable and start sending messages today!
