Text Messaging Controls also provides subscribers with messaging personalization features and filtering controls. The Text Messaging Controls solution contains a Personalization Suite and a Control Suite, each with distinct features.

Personalization Suite: allows for adding a personal signature to every message, setting up an “out of office” message and creating group distribution list.

Control Suite: allows you to set up a Blocklist and Allowlist that blocks or accepts messages from mobile numbers, e-mail address and domain addresses, apply time-of-day restrictions and restrict international text messaging by blocking specific country codes.

Domestic to International Text Messaging (texts either sent to an international phone number or received from an international phone number) is 25¢ per text sent or received regardless of text plan.  Not available with Pay-As-You-Go or Lifeline plans. 

Bluegrass Cellular now participates in Common Short Code text alerts and voting.  With short codes, you may participate in polls, receive text information and alerts from a variety of campaigns.  Some short codes require data services and incur additional charges. Text and Picture Messaging Tips: Text messaging charges apply to messages sent or received. To send a short text email to a Bluegrass Cellular text messaging customer, address your email to the 10 digit phone number (which includes the area code) @sms.bluecell.com. Example: .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). If sending a text message from phone to phone, simply address the text message to the 10 digit phone number of the recipient. Domestic to International Text Messaging is 25¢ per text sent or received (texts either sent to an international phone number or received from an international phone number). Available on all plans except Unlimited Pay-As-You-Go and Lifeline plans. Messages can be sent by placing the country code in front of the mobile number.
